Shortlisting: Nominations close on Sunday December 15th 23:59. Afterwards, our AWOL team of creatives will create an initial shortlist of nominees based on creativity, personal impact, and storytelling.
Jury Review: YoungDogs’ expert jury of young and seasoned Creative Directors will take it from there, bringing their industry insight to select their Rising Star winner.
Voting: From December 16th till December 31st 23:59, the audience gets to put in their vote, which will be combined with the jury vote.
Winner Announcement: The winner will be revealed live during the Community Awards Gala on January 17, 2025 at Paradiso Amsterdam (yes, on their largest stage!).

What are the Community Awards?
The Community Awards are a new, community-driven awards ceremony for creatives. No pay-to-play nonsense, no need to have worked on a million-euro commercial. We focus on true up-comers, self-initiated work, and smaller but more impactful campaigns that showcase fresh ideas and individuality.
In some traditional ceremonies, success can depend on how much money you’ve spent on a flashy campaign or even just to submit your nomination (yes, we’re talking about those €400 nomination fees), the Community Awards focus on what really matters: creativity, individuality, and personal impact. With free nomination entries and an inclusive gala.
What is the Rising Star Award?
The Rising Star Award 2025, in collaboration with YoungDogs, is for emerging creatives who showcase exceptional potential and have made big steps in their work in 2024. You may have not worked on large campaigns yet but have demonstrated creativity and personal contribution through self-initiated projects, spec ads, or standout ideas. The requirements:
You're submitting 1 project from 2024 on which you personally have made a sizeable impact. Spec ads and self-initiated campaigns are encouraged.
You've made significant steps in your creative skillset in 2024, and can motivate which ones.
You're under the age of 30.
5 selected creatives will be selected, with only one to win during our gala: January 17th, Paradiso. Tickets here!
